Billing and payments at V-Care
We bill your insurance for you, and cash patients are welcome. Here's how billing works, what you pay at your visit and who to call with a question.

If you have insurance
We bill your insurance plan for you. Bring your insurance card to every visit, and tell us as soon as your coverage changes using the insurance update form.
If your plan has a copay, it's collected at your visit. After your plan processes the claim, it will usually send you an explanation of benefits showing what it paid. If it says you owe a balance, such as a deductible or coinsurance, we'll send you a bill for that amount.
You can check that we accept your plan on our insurance page.
If you're paying for yourself
Cash (self-pay) patients are welcome. Ask about the cost of your visit when you book, so you know what to expect before you come.
Your right to a Good Faith Estimate
If you don't have insurance, or you choose not to use it, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of what your care is expected to cost. Ask for one when you book. Our Good Faith Estimate notice explains how it works.
Paying your bill
You can pay at the front desk when you visit. Online bill pay is coming soon, and we'll add a link here when it's ready.
Questions about a bill
If something on a bill doesn't look right, or you're not sure what you owe, call us at (281) 984-4550, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Have the bill in front of you when you call. You can also email contact@v-carehealth.com, leaving out any card details.
Common questions
Do you bill my insurance for me?
Yes. We send the claim to your plan for you. Bring your insurance card to every visit so we bill the right plan, and tell us when your coverage changes.
When do I pay my copay?
Copays are collected at your visit. Any other balance your plan says you owe, such as a deductible or coinsurance, is billed to you after your plan processes the claim.
Can I pay my bill online?
Not yet. Online bill pay is coming soon. Until then, you can pay at the front desk, or call (281) 984-4550 with any questions about your bill.
What if I can't pay my bill all at once?
Call us at (281) 984-4550 before the due date and we'll talk through your options. It's always better to call early than to let a bill go unpaid.
I don't have insurance. Can I still be seen?
Yes. Cash (self-pay) patients are welcome. Ask about the cost when you book, and ask for a Good Faith Estimate of your expected charges.
